Parent/Caregiver Self-Reg Group at NGES EYC

Grab a coffee and join us to chat about the challenges that parenting brings! This group is aimed at building resilience in ourselves and our kids as we explore the topic of “Self Regulation” in support of more calm, alert and focused kids at home and at school.   

Parents and caregivers are welcome as we connect and inspire each other by sharing stories that we can all learn from. Our discussions will relate to the work done by Dr. Stuart Shanker (www.self-reg.ca) and others around understanding behavior as communication and strategies we can all use to better understand how to overcome some of the stressors in our lives to be more “available” for those around us.

This is an informal group, drop in and out as your schedule permits. There is no need to register. We will chat about how you would like to proceed and the resources that would be most helpful at our first get together on January 12th!
